I love to have coffee with friends. We all need a helping hand or three in life.
. I started blogging a few years ago to chronicle the obtaining and curing of a broken nose. Learning to surf - the ocean, not the internet - at the age of 50 plus wasn't such a good idea, but it made a good story. I then caught the blogging bug and continued to keep an online diary of the random events of life.
Then, at the beginning of Lent a couple of years ago, I started keeping a 'prayer diary' of thoughts and reflections from my Bible reading on Words From God for Today. I aimed to blog every day during Lent, then, again, found myself continuing, albeit not quite as frequently.
I also blog about family recipes as my own recipe book has fallen apart; and keep records of particular Bible studies I have done with different groups.
One of my favourite activities is when, once a month, a group of women come to breakfast in my home and we chat about our faith. I usually choose a particular topic as a focus, but we find we encourage each other in all kinds of different ways.
So who am I really? Wife, mother of twins, lover of dogs, teacher, family member, disciple ... not necessarily in that order.
